Through tele-play therapy, children learn how to interact with the world around them, communicate with others, problem solve, discover emotions and empathy, ignite their vivid imagination and much, much more! It has opened us to a new virtual platform where our therapeutic play space can continue to live on.
A play therapist is trained to observe the child's behavior during the play sessions, explore issues with the child and construct activities that can help the child heal. Children naturally communicate their emotions and challenges through play, and the therapist is able to pick up on them.
Through tele-play therapy, children learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn a variety of ways of relating to others.
